#FITCHIC of the Week: Guinevere Evans

One motto #fitchics live by is, “don’t wish for a good body, work for it!” This rings true when thinking about the #fitchic of the Week recognition. Each and every #fitchic in the spotlight has put in countless time and energy to hit health and fitness goals. This week Coach Amber is excited to recognize Guinevere Evans on all of her fit accomplishments since becoming a #fitchic with In Awe Fitness! Guinevere’s commitment to the #fitchic lifestyle shows in her progress and we are so proud to shout out all of her achievements!

Guinevere began her fitness journey in 2016 at 211 pounds and has lost over 50 pounds since then! In 2016 she made a commitment to herself to put herself first. Guinevere says, “as a mother and a military spouse for years I was lost. Now I look and feel better about myself. I am in my 40's and I’m healthier than I was in my late 20's . My why is me and my health. There’s a lot of things in life that won’t happen for me but taking care of myself I’ve found out was never too late.” The biggest challenge for Guinevere was staying consistent. So why stay with In Awe Fitness then, you ask? Guinevere confirms, “Amber’s programs work. She is the best, not just looking at myself, I’ve seen people change not just in weight or size. Her program make you believe in yourself.”

Guinevere met Amber is 2013 through a mutual friend. Guinevere recalls, “my favorite memory (with Amber) is when she showed up to my house in 2013 with her workout equipment in her truck. That showed me how far she would go and how much she cared. I’ll never forget that.”

Guinevere’s advice for current and future #fitchics is simple, “Never give up and be consistent.” There are so many amazing things about being part of the #fitchic community but Guinevere thinks that, “(the) best part is that your never alone and your always around encouraging people. My journey has been a roller coaster. Thanks to Amber, Britni, Sarimar and Karen always texting and keeping me accountable I’m more consistent and loving my look. I’m always meeting new people.”

A #fitchic is someone who believes in herself, crushes goals, hurdles over milestones and inspires other women to be the best version of themselves each and every day. It takes effort, dedication, self-motivation, resilience and heart to transform into a #fitchic for life! Love Guinevere’s inspiring #fitchic story? We do too and are so proud to have her on our squad!

Tune in next Friday to see who is chosen by Coach Amber and Britni as the next #fitchic of the Week! Know a #fitchic you want to nominate for this title? Send us a message! We would love to hear from you!
